Where the Andes Meet the Heart

By Franck Guia  ·  español (Latinoamérica)

High in the Peruvian Andes, Lucía Quispe has spent her life helping her family run a small guesthouse overlooking terraced hills and ancient ruins, certain that love belongs in songs and stories, not in her own carefully ordered world. But when Gabriel Navarro, a restless photographer from Lima, arrives searching for the spirit of a country he barely understands, their lives begin to entwine between mountain festivals, mist-covered paths, and long afternoons in markets bright with woven colors and flowers. Lucía sees in Gabriel a chance at something larger than duty; Gabriel finds in Lucía a depth and steadiness that unsettle everything he thought he wanted. Yet family expectations, old griefs, and the distance between their worlds threaten to pull them apart. In a land shaped by memory, beauty, and quiet resilience, they must decide whether love is strong enough to bridge the distance between where they come from and who they might become together.
